We are rolling in the winter holidays with celebration this year.
Brian turned 29, Ryder turned 31, Greg turned 26, Karen turned 22, Nate turned something.
Its cold and we are drinking lots of Christmas Ale and listening to sad music (Bon Iver and Wye Oak). That is how you know winter has hit in our community. Beer and depressing music.
Life is slowing down a bit. Only a little bit but anything helps. We are finding motivation to focus inward again. Much needed.
We have already decorated for Christmas and watched home alone 1 and 2. We have also started crafting christmas gifts. What I am trying to say is we are pretty much on top of it for once in our lives.
A few of us took a nice trip down to London, Ohio to spend time with our dear friends who live in community in Athens and Cincinatti. It was refreshing and gave us a nice sense of renewal. I love what we are all doing individually but sometimes I wish we could all be together. Thank you, Common Friars, for being such solid and inspiring people. We love you guys.
I am nothing without pretend
I know my thoughts, can’t live with them
I am nothing without amend,
I know my thoughts but I can’t hide them
